The Garage Venue

The Garage located at 47 Uplands Crescent, SA2 0NP, is one of Swansea's newest music venues opened in 2008. Famed for their simplicity first attitude The Garage really is a breath of fresh air in the music scene - their slogan "we don’t do gimmicks, and we don’t charge a fortune" sums them up perfectly, drawing in some fantastic local and national bands and DJs. Any serious local musicians should be regularly heading down to The Garage to check out the up and coming bands of tomorrow - see you on the front row!

Sin City

Sin City Club is a fantastic mix of club nights and local up and coming bands rocking audiences. Located on Dillwyn Street, Swansea, SA1 4AQ Sin City boasts two rooms packed with DJ equipment, wicked lighting and one hell of a sound system! Often bringing in some cracking tribute bands Sin City should be another local haunt for aspiring musicians.

Brangwyn Hall

Brangwyn Hall has seem many fine classical and modern concerts over the years. Opened way back on the 23 October 1934, the Guildhall has played a central role in the lives of the people of Swansea ever since, providing them with music and popular culture drawn from Wales and beyond. Named after the artist Frank Brangwyn, whose famous "panels", originally intended for the House of Lords, are displayed there the venue has more recently appeared in episodes of Dr Who (Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead, as well as The Big Bang for any Dr Who fans out there!). Worth keeping an eye on which artists are playing at the Brangwyn Hall as from time to time there are some great acts that come to Swansea!
